The day we tied the knot was the sunniest and hottest day we had seen all year. I hadn't slept all night but when the sun rose things were different. Hair-ups, french toast, champagne, prayer...
...TO IT'S ENDURANCE, NO END TO IT'S TRUST...
Then there were sacred words and prayers and promises. It was all a bit of a blur, so I am pleased we have it on video.
It is a special day when you have all the people you love gathered in the same room. Our speeches caused tears, DIY touches; compliments and dancing; admiration.
From the day of proposal, we decided there were three things we desired for our wedding:
- to also focus and honour our precious friends & family
- to view our day as a step into a life of marriage together and not get hung up on party details
- to show everyone that we follow a great God.
